The hotel offers excellent rooms with large and comfortable beds, plenty of refreshments, and toiletries, but the outdated decor doesn't quite justify the £150 per night rate. The service is top-notch, with accommodating and pleasant staff who are always ready to assist. The location is brilliant, within walking distance to a lovely city center, although the heavy perfume scent might be overwhelming. The dining experience varies with good service but poor quality food. Overall, a mixed bag but great for a quick stay.

The hotel was just what we needed for our wedding party, with spacious, clean, and tidy rooms that were perfect for our requirements and in a great location for walking into the center within 10 minutes. While it might be fine for a one-night stay overall, it was a good choice for us.
